A hydrogen fuel system in which the fuel is transformed from liquid to gas is used to administer cooling, e.g., air conditioning. The system incorporates first and second stage heat exchangers. The first stage exchanger is used to benefit from the endothermic reaction created when liquid hydrogen transforms into gas. The cooling provided from this state change is transferred into a second medium which is delivered into a second stage heat transfer device and then used for cooling purposes.

La présente invention se rapporte à un système d'alimentation à hydrogène, dans lequel le combustible liquide est transformé en gaz. Ledit système est destiné à servir au refroidissement, par exemple, au conditionnement de l'air. Le système selon l'invention comprend des premier et second échangeurs de chaleur à étages. Le premier échangeur de chaleur à étages est conçu pour tirer profit de la réaction endothermique générée lors de la transformation de l'hydrogène liquide en gaz. Le refroidissement issu de cette modification d'état est transféré à un second milieu, lequel est distribué à un second dispositif de transfert de chaleur puis utilisé aux fins de refroidissement.
