Abstract of the Disclosure When an abnormal washing condition is experienced in a fully automatic electric washing machine during a washing process, an auto-off power switch is automatically turned off after a long delay time such as one hour. The operator can notice the abnormal condition during this long delay time so that the normal washing process can be resumed by correcting the abnomality, it then being unnecessary to re-set the conditions of the washing process. After the process is finished, the switch is automatically turned off after a short delay time such as five minutes. During this short time, it is unnecessary to turn the switch on to re-start the machine for carrying out the next washing process.
