ABSTRACT This invention relates to a full charge detection circuit of a battery which can electrically detect the temperature rise occurring at full charge of the battery by using a temperature detection element, and raising an alarm at the full charge or cutting off the power source. The device enables more accurate detection of full charge of the battery than that obtainable with previously known methods where pre-setting of the charging time could not be made as accurately, because the temperature or voltage at the time of full charge fluctuated depending upon the change in ambient temperature or in the discharge quantity of the battery. The present invention enables accurate detection of the full charge time, by detecting the temperature difference arising from the temperature rise at the time of full charge, thus preventing either excessive or deficient charging from taking place.
