A case sealer has a frame with a low friction conveyor upon which boxes are moved by a pair of spaced-apart, lateral conveyors that are linked together for simultaneous inward and outward movement. Width sensing and actuation means move the lateral conveyors inwardly to the width of the box. A measuring stage measures the height of the box. A flap folding stage has a floating head located over the lateral conveyors. Means responsive to the height of the box lift the floating head to the box height. An entrance ramp on the floating head folds inwardly the forward end flap of the box. A pivoting arm assembly pivots downwardly after the box passes thereunder to fold inwardly the rearward end flap of the box. Diverging side bars fold inwardly the box side flaps. A seal dispensing platform located on the floating head is adapted to mount a seal dispenser thereon for sealing the box flaps shut.
