Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a prosthesis for implantation entirely within the corpus carvensoum of the penis. The prosthesis is vapor pressure driven and through the displacement of a working fluid effects physiologically normal erectile and flaccid states. In one general embodiment, a movable wall is driven by permitting the pressurant to expand while remaining essentially at normal body temperatures. In another embodiment, the pressurant is heated by an external source of electrical energy.
