ABSTRACT This invention gives the components of a mixture and provides a method for fumigating space, bulk storage or soil by means of a mixture of methyl bromide and acrylonitrile or other nitrile compounds per se or dissolved in a carrier to control insects and related organisms. The method is effective over temperatures ranging up to and above 50°C and down to and below -10°C.
