Ce dispositif de jonction comporte une couronne d'appui fendue et un dispositif d'écartement maintenant l'espacement de la fente entre les deux extrémités de la couronne, et est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte deux étriers dis- posés dans ladite fente de la couronne d'appui , à savoir dans l'espace qui sépare ses deux extrémités , ces étrier présentant chacun une butée pour l'extrémité correspondante de la couronne, et en ce que chaque étrier est assujetti à l'emboîtement par un moyen de blocage .
