This invention is directed to processes for producing acyclic or cyclic alcohols or glycols, carbonyls, oxiranes or aziridines from hydrocarbyl group- containing compounds, particularly lower alkanes such as methane, ethane, propane or butanes, in which the hydrocarbyl group-containing compounds are converted under regioselective conditions to a functionalized ultimate precursor from which the final products can be produced. In its broadest sense, regioselective conditions are reaction zone conditions which are highly selective to the production and recovery of the desired functionalized compound, be it the ultimate precursor or an intermediate to the production of the ultimate precursor.
La présente invention concerne des procédés des production d'alcools ou de glycols acycliques ou cycliques, de carbonyles, d'oxydes d'éthylène ou d'aziridines à partir de composés contenant des groupes d'hydrocarbyle, en particulier d'alcanes inférieurs tels que le méthane, l'éthane, le propane ou le butane, dans lesquels les composés contenant des groupes d'hydrocarbyle sont convertis, dans des conditions regiosélectives, en un précurseur final fonctionnalisé, à partir duquel on peut produire les produits terminaux. Au sens large, on entend par conditions regiosélectives des conditions dans la zone de réaction qui sont hautement sélectives en vue de la production et de la récupération du composé fonctionnalisé voulu, que celui-ci soit le précurseur final ou un intermédiaire dans la production du précurseur final.
