Functionalized polymers widely usable in the fields of drugs and medical instruments which are obtained by functionalizing, by organic synthesis, glycosaminoglycan controlling the adhesion, migration and proliferation of cells via binding to various cell growth factors and cytokines or direct interactions with cells. These functionalized polymers are characterized by having a sugar chain involving a structure corresponding to at least a part of the fundamental glycosaminoglycan skeleton introduced into the main chain of a vinyl polymer.
Cette invention concerne des polymères fonctionnalisés pouvant être largement utilisés en médecine et en pharmacie. Ces polymères peuvent être obtenus par fonctionnalisation, via une synthèse organique, du glycosaminoglycane qui régit l'adhésion, la migration et la prolifération de cellules, ceci par liaison avec divers facteurs de croissance de la cellule et avec des cytokines ou interaction directe avec des cellules. Ces polymères fonctionnalisés se caractérisent en ce qu'ils possèdent une chaîne de sucres correspondant à une partie au moins du squelette du glycosaminoglycane introduite dans la chaîne principale de polymère vinylique.
