ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE FUNGICIDAL DERIVATIVES OF 1,3-THIAZOLIDIN- 4-ONE AND 1,3-THIAZIN-4-ONE A compound of the general formula Image (I) or a salt or a metal complex thereof, wherein X is oxygen or sulphur; Y represents a group Image or -CR4R5CR6R7-; one of R1 and R2 represents an optionally substituted pyrazinyl group, and the other represents an optionally substituted pyrazinyl, pyridyl or phenyl group; each of R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 independently re- presents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and m is 0, 1 or 2, together with a process for their preparation are disclosed. These compounds find use as fungicides, either as such or as a salt or metal complex. Typically they are used to heat seeds, crops, or a crop locus.
