The invention relates to a novel fungicidal composition comprising a fungicidally acceptable carrier and/or surface active agent and synergistically effective amounts of (a) at least one benzophenone of formula (I) wherein R1~, R2~, R3~, R4~, R5~, R6~ R7~, m and n have the meaning given; at least one compound of formula (II) in which Ar and R8~ have the meaning given; and to a method of controlling the growth of phytopathogenic fungi at a locus which comprises applying synergistically effective amounts of (a) at least one benzophenone of formula (I) and (b) at least one compound of formula (II) to the locus.

L'invention concerne une composition fongicide contenant un porteur et/ou un tensioactif fongicides acceptables, et des quantit~s synergiques efficaces (a) d'au moins une benzoph~none de formule (I) dans laquelle R?1´, R?2´, R?3´, R?4´, R?5´, R?6´ R?7´, m et n ont la signification donn~e, et (b) d'au moins un compos~ de la formule (II) dans laquelle Ar et R?8´ ont la signification donn~e.
