The present invention relates to a method of combating a phytopathogenic disease on crop plants which comprises applying to the crop plants or the locus thereof being infested with said phytopathogenic disease a synergistically effective amount of a combination of a first component I metalaxyl having an R-enantiomer content of more than 70% by weight in association with a second component II methyl (E)-2-methoxyimino-[2-(o- tolyloxymethyl)phenyl]acetate. The invention also relates to a fungicidal composition comprising components I and II.

La présente invention a pour objet une méthode pour combattre une maladie phytopathogène sur des cultures. Cette méthode comprend l'application sur les cultures ou sur le locus infectés par ladite maladie phytopathogène d'une quantité synergétiquement efficace d'une combinaison d'un premier élément I, du métalaxyl, ayant une teneur en énantiomère R de plus de 70 % en poids, en association avec un deuxième élément II, du (E)-2-méthoxyimino-¬2-(o-tolyloxyméthyl)phényl|acétate de méthyle.
