Compounds having the structural formula (I), wherein R can be the same or different and is halogen, hydrogen, C1-C8 al- kyl, C1-C8 haloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C7-C9 aralkyl, phenyl, nitro, C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 alkylthio, C1-C6 alkylsulfinyl, C1-C6 alkylsulfonyl, C7-C9 aralkoxy, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenylsulfinyl, or phenylsulfonyl; m is an integer from 0 to 5; Y is CH2, oxygen, or sulfur; n is an integer from 0 to 5; R1 is C1-C5 alkyl, phenyl, C1-C5 alkyl substituted phenyl, or haloge- nated phenyl; X is N or CH; or physiologically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed which have fungicidal activity. Fungi- cidal compositions comprising the compounds and a carrier are also disclosed, as are methods for controlling the growth of phytopathogenic fungi utilizing the compounds. Methods for the preparation of such compounds are also disclosed.
