FURANOSE-O-PYRIDYLCARBOXYLIC ACID ESTERS Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to the preparation of furanose-O-pyridylcarboxylic acid esters, such as the ethyl-2-O-methyl-3,5,6-tri-O-nicotinoyl-D-glucofuranoside, which have anti-inflammatory activity and are fibrinolysis activators. They can be used for the treatment of rheumatic and neuralgic complaints, and especially for the topical percutaneous treatment of localised inflammatory processes.
