ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The application discloses an assembly of fasteners used to assemble parts of furniture. Conventional ways of assembling furniture involve the use of nails, dowels and the like. Increased costs of labour make it highly desirable to provide a better system for more easily and reliably assembling furniture together. As described herein, that need is met with a single set of fasteners, and other parts, made of metal or other rigid material and which is used to secure together the various parts of a piece of furniture. While the fasteners may be made of metal, they may also be made of plastic or other material if sufficiently rigid and they may be of any colour so as to lend an attractive appearance to the furniture piece in which they are used.
