A furniture glide (10) has a clip (24) having a pair of upstanding arms (28) mounted within a circular ferrule (12). The ferrule (12) defines a ferrule opening (18) having a diameter less than a diameter of the clip arms (28). The clip (24) is sufficiently resiliently deformable to be insertable through the ferrule opening (18) and return to its original diameter. A rivet (36) having a convex swivel surface (42) and concave swivel surface (44) extends from the ferrule (12) to support a shell assembly (46) on the convex swivel surface (42). A glide base (56) is mounted to the shell assembly (46) and contacts the concave swivel surface (44).

L'invention concerne un glisseur (10) comprenant une attache (24) pourvue de deux bras verticaux (28), montés à l'intérieur d'une virole circulaire (12). Cette virole (12) définit un orifice (18) dont le diamètre est inférieur au diamètre des bras (28) de ladite attache (24), laquelle est suffisamment élastique et déformable pour être insérée dans l'orifice (18) de la virole, et ainsi retrouver son diamètre originel. Un rivet (36), présentant une surface pivotante convexe (42) et une surface pivotante concave (44), s'étend depuis ladite virole (12) afin de soutenir une gaine (46) entourant ladite surface pivotante convexe (42).
