The present invention provides a device for spacing a piece of legged furniture from a wall, the device comprising a pair of spaced arms each having a first end for engagement with a wall; and a cross-member extends between the pair of arms and being adjustably secured thereto intermediate the ends thereof, each of the arms and the cross-member having inwardly directed surfaces defining a frame for surrounding a portion of a leg of the furniture, said arms projecting from said frame to inhibit movement of the leg toward the wall.
