Embodiments of the present invention provide tools (100) for installing and extracting fuses. In one embodiment, the tool (100) has an elongate handle (102). A guideway (104) spans the length of the handle, and a pair of jaws (106), adapted to retain the fuse, protrudes from an end (108) of the handle. A rod (110) is disposed within the guideway (104) and is selectively actuatable within the guideway (104) for releasing the fuse (112) from the jaws (106).
