Novel compounds which are compounds represented by general formula (I) or salts thereof having a steroid C17-20 lyase inhibitory activity and being useful as preventives or remedies for tumors such as prostatism and mammary cancer. In said formula, A1 represents a five- or six-membered ring optionally having substituent(s) excluding cyclic ones; A2 represents an optionally substituted aromatic ring; X represents a divalent group; Y represents nitrogen or methine; Z represents optionally substituted ethenylene or ethynylene; and R represents an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, provided that 3,4-dihydro-6-[3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)-1-propenyl]-2(1H)-quinolone and 2-[3-[5-ethyl-6-methyl-2-(benzyloxy)-3-pyridyl]-1-propenyl-benzoxazole] are excluded therefrom.

Nouveaux composés représentés par la formule générale (I) ou sels de ceux-ci, ayant une activité inhibitrice de la lyase des stéroïdes C¿17-20? et utiles en tant qu'agents préventifs ou curatifs de tumeurs comme le cancer de la prostate et du sein. Dans ladite formule (I), A¿1? représente un anneau à cinq ou six éléments comportant éventuellement un ou plusieurs substituants à l'exclusion des substituants cycliques; A¿2? représente un anneau aromatique éventuellement substitué; X représente un groupe bivalent; Y représente azote ou méthine; Z représente éthynylène ou éthénylène éventuellement substitué; et R représente un groupe hétérocyclique éventuellement substitué, à condition que 3,4-dihydro-6-[3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)-1-propényl]-2(1H)-quinolone et 2-[3-[5-éthyl-6-méthyl-2-(benzyloxy)-3-pyridyl]-1-propényl-benzoxazole] en soient exclus.
