This invention provides novel compounds which prevent or block a FVIIa mediated or associated process or event such as the catalytic conversion of FX to FXa, FVII to FVIIa or FIX to FIXa. In particular aspects, the compounds of the invention bind Factor VIIa (FVIIa), its zymogen Factor VII (FVII) and/or block the association of FVII or FVIIa with a peptide compound of the present invention. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising the novel compounds as well as their use in diagnostic, therapeutic, and prophylactic methods.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux composés qui empêchent ou bloquent un processus ou événement dans lequel FVIIa intervient ou est associé, telle la conversion catalytique de FX en FXa, de FVII en FVIIa ou de FIX en FIXa. Dans des aspects particuliers, les composés de l'invention se lient au facteur VIIa (FVIIa), à son zymogène le facteur VII (FVII) et/ou bloquent l'association de FVII ou de FVIIa avec un composé peptidique de l'invention. L'invention se réfère également à des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ces nouveaux composés et à leur utilisation dans des méthodes diagnostiques, thérapeutiques et prophylactiques.
