ABSTRACT A game is provided that is played with two or more paddles, each to be held by a player and capable of striking a small soccer-like ball, and a game board consisting of a rectangular panel having a flat playing surface across which the ball can be rolled back and forth when struck by the paddles. A resilient ball-retaining rail extends substantially around the perimeter of the playing surface and has an upright inside face serving as a bank from which the ball bounces on impact therewith. Ten or more pegs are arranged on each half of the playing surface. These pegs form at least two rows of pegs on each half with the front row having at least four pegs spread across the width of the playing surface. The rear row has three pegs and the end pegs of this row are spaced a substantial distance from the rail that extends along the sides of the playing surface. Two goals are arranged at opposite ends of the playing surface.
