A game or puzzle including a plurality of polyomino pieces which have the obverse sides and reverse sides marked with different markings, there being at least three markings in total on the obverse and reverse sides of the pieces. The pieces may be assembled using both sides into different arrays of eight by eight squares defining checkerboard patterns for use in playing the game of chess or checkers. The pieces may also be assembled into a cube comprising four by four by four squares.

L'invention concerne un jeu ou puzzle comprenant une pluralité de pièces du type polyominos ayant des côtés face et pile portant des marquages différents, ces marquages étant au nombre de trois au moins en tout sur les côtés face et pile des pièces. On peut assembler les pièces en utilisant les deux côtés pour réaliser différents agencements de huit carrés par huit carrés avec un motif d'échiquier, pour jouer aux échecs ou aux dames. Les pièces peuvent également être assemblées en un cube de quatre carrés par quatre carrés par quatre carrés.
