A gaming apparatus comprising a housing, a transparent panel with a first and second surface, and a conductive coating disposed proximate to the second surface, wherein the coating has a high visible light transmittance and a low electrical surface resistance. The gaming apparatus also comprises a grounded metallic strip coupled to the coating and located at a perimeter of the coating, a value input device, and a mechanically rotatable reel that is disposed in the housing so that the mechanically rotatable reel is visible to a player of the gaming apparatus through the transparent panel and the coating. Also included is a controller that comprises a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The controller is programmed to allow a person to make a wager and to determine a value payout associated with an outcome of a game incorporating the mechanically rotatable reel.
L'invention concerne un appareil de jeu comprenant un boîtier, une fenêtre transparente ayant une première et seconde surface, un revêtement conducteur placé à proximité de la seconde surface, le revêtement ayant une forte capacité de transmission de lumière visible et une faible résistance électrique superficielle. L'appareil de jeu comporte également une bande métallique mise à la terre couplée au revêtement et placée sur le pourtour du revêtement, un dispositif de saisie de valeur et une roue mécaniquement rotative disposée dans le boîtier de manière à être visible par un joueur à travers la fenêtre transparente et le revêtement. L'invention concerne en outre un contrôleur comportant un processeur et une mémoire couplée au processeur. Le contrôleur est programmé de manière à permettre à une personne de faire une mise et de déterminer un montant à payer associé à un résultat de jeu intégrant la roue mécaniquement rotative.
