ABSTRACT Improvements Relating to Gaming Machines A gaming machine is provided in which a player rolls a ball over a table with the objective of causing the ball to drop through holes in the table. Depending upon which holes the ball drops through so the greater or lesser will be the player's score. Each score causes the clock hand to sweep over a clock face. When the game starts, a countdown hand also sweeps across the clock face and the objective of the game is for the player to cause the play hand to reach a finishing position before the countdown hand. Depending upon by how much the play hand is in advance of the countdown hand when the play hand reaches the finishing position, the greater will be the prize awarded to the player. If the countdown hand reaches the finishing position before the play hand, the player loses.
