2125689 9415684 PCTABS00033 A gaming table (10) is provided with a coin head (24) having a coin-in slot (25) at each of a plurality of player locations (22). Each coin slot (25) is connected by means of a coin chute (28) to the coin bin (64) formed as part of the chip rack (60). Each coin (40) that is dropped into the coin slot (25) rolls or slides along the coin chute (28) and into the coin bin (64) during the play of the game. The dealer can reach into the coin bin (64) at any time it is necessary to refill the chip rack (60) with coins (40) for use during the play of the game. The coin chute (28) is preferably configured in a C-shape so that access is available to the coin chute (28) in the event a coin (40) jams in the coin chute (28).
