ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gang lock assembly for locking the drawers of a cabinet includes a vertically extending locking bar behind each drawer and a latch on all but one drawer engageable with the locking bar for locking the drawers. Each locking bar is pivotable about a vertical axis, and a connecting rod extends between cranks attached to each locking bar for simultaneous pivoting movement between locking and unlocking positions. The one drawer, which has 8 lock thereon for locking it in its closed position, is engageable with the locking bar therebehind to pivot that locking bar, and hence each locking bar, to its locking position as the one drawer is moved to its closed position.
