An optical device for viewing an im-age is provided. The optical device includes two opti-cal channels, each optical channel including an image detector assembly and a complimentary objective lens assembly spaced by a respective distance from the image detector assembly. A focus mechanism is ei-ther directly or indirectly coupled to both Image de-tector assemblies. The focus mechanism includes two threaded segments having an unequal thread pitch. Each image detector assembly Includes a mating threaded segment that is threadedly coupled to a re-spective threaded segment of the focus mechanism such that rotation of the focus mechanism causes translation of both image detector assemblies at un-equal rates by virtue of the unequal thread pitch of the threaded segments of the focus mechanism.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif optique pour visualiser une image. Le dispositif optique comprend deux canaux optiques, chaque canal optique comprenant un ensemble de détection d'image et un ensemble objectif complémentaire espacé d'une distance respective de l'ensemble de détection d'image. Le mécanisme de focalisation est couplé soit directement, soit indirectement, aux deux ensembles de détection d'image. Le mécanisme de focalisation comprend deux segments filetés dont le pas de filetage est inégal. Chaque ensemble de détection d'image comprend un segment fileté d'accouplement qui est couplé par filetage à un segment fileté respectif du mécanisme de focalisation, de telle sorte que la rotation du mécanisme de focalisation provoque une translation des deux ensembles de détection d'image à des vitesses inégales grâce au pas de filetage inégal des segments filetés du mécanisme de focalisation.
