A method of adjusting gap of a plastic flow channel (3, 23) is provided in a plastic forming device (1) having a first body part (7, 25) adjacent one side of an adjustable relative to the channel and a second body part (9 27) on which the first body part is mounted by a tight fitting between the first and second body parts. The method comprises subjecting one of the body parts to a first temperature change producing a temporary temperature defferential and a loosening of the fitting between the body parts, adjusting positioning of the first body part (7, 25) on the second body part (9, 27) while the fitting is loosened and then subjecting the one body part to a second temperature change opposite to the first temperature change to offset the temperature differential and restore the tight fitting between the body parts.
L'invention concerne un procédé de réglage de la largeur d'un canal d'amenée (3, 23) de plastique fondu dans un dispositif (1) pour réaliser des éléments en plastique, ayant une première partie de corps (7) jouxtant un côté du canal et ajustable par rapport à celui-ci et une seconde partie de corps (2), sur laquelle la première partie de corps est montée selon un ajustement serré. Le procédé consiste à soumettre une des parties de corps à un premier changement de température produisant un différentiel de température temporaire et un desserrage de l'ajustement entre les parties de corps; à ajuster la position de la première partie de corps sur la seconde partie tandis qu'elles sont ainsi desserrées; et à soumettre la partie de corps qui avait été soumise à un premier changement de température, à un second changement de température opposé au premier, pour annuler le différentiel de température et revenir à l'ajustement serré entre les parties de corps.
