This present invention relates to an improved garage floor sump. Traditional garage sumps are formed into concrete floor using 2X4's and plywood. This is both costly and time consuming. The present device is a steel sump placed into the floor before the concrete is poured, removing the need for forming a concrete sump. Water and debris flow together into a grate positioned level to the floor. The water flows through a debris chamber where the large debris is separated from the water; which continues to flow into a drainage chamber. A dividing steel wall, with a small gap at the top, filters the water from the debris chamber to the drainage chamber. The dividing wall has a plurality of semi circle holes located at the bottom to filter the debris. A removable top plate located next to the grate allows for easy access to the debris and drain chambers.
