ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for holding open the entrance to a plastic garbage bag, to facilitate filling the bag. The device comprises three rigid elongated members hinged at their ends to each other so as to form, in open position, an elongated linear member. The free ends are provided with releasable, engageable securing means. When the securing means are engaged, the members are in closed position to form a rigid triangular structure. Means are provided for releasably circumscribing the members, when in closed position, to releasably hold thereon the garbage bag in open orientation.
