The invention can be summarized as follows. The present invention provides a garment comprising a plurality of harness stabilizer flaps, each stabilizer flap comprising a first portion that is reversibly or permanently affixed to the garment and a second portion that is capable of being reversibly attached to the garment or a portion of material on the stabilizer flap. Also disclosed are garments comprising harnesses attached via the one or more harness stabilizer flaps and methods of modifying garments to be capable of retaining a harness.
