A garment hanger (10) adapted for hooking over a clothes rail (15b) includes a hanger frame (11) which is generally perpendicular to a notional vertical plane (15a) containing the clothes rail (15b); a hanger support hook (14) adjacent an apex of the frame (11); and a handle (22) depending downwards from an end of the frame (11), said end being offset downwardly from the apex of the frame (11) and laterally of the notional vertical plane (15a).
