A ventilated garment is provided having at least one substantially non-strechable front panel (106) and at least one rear panel (310), in which the front and rear panels have an opening therein, and in which the front panel includes a substantially non-stretchable, air permeable vent panel (210), having a shape substantially corresponding to the front panel opening (108), affixed to the front panel along the periphery of the front panel opening. The front panel further includes a cover element (110). First, second, and third closure elements are provided along the cover element periphery (114, 116, 118) to adjustably couple the cover element to the front panel.
