- 9 - ABSTRACT A gas bag for use in air systems consists of a plainweave woven fabric made of synthetic threads. To ensure that the particles released upon the combustion of the explosive charge of the gas generator will be retained in the gas bag, the woven fabric consists of threads having a denier not in excess of 470 dtex and has a sett of 15 to 23 threads per ?m and its threads consist of low-shrinkage threads in the bottom part of the gas bag.
