ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a burner for combustible gases such as a propane/air burner. It is concerned with an improvement to the flame stabilizer in such a burner. The flame stabilizer is thought to be unique in that it forms the gases into two halves and, then, reunites the paths so that they form a vortex sheet at their interface that, in turn, forms a vortex.
