ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a gas and radiant tube heating device. The gas burner unit for radiant tube heating device, of the type comprising a burner assembly adaptable on a casing defining a mixing and combustion chamber extended by a radiant tube connecting sleeve, characterized in that: - the casing (10) forms a flange (15) for mounting a support housing (11) comprises in its mixing and combustion chamber (l4), a centering cross-lattice (23), - the casing (11) comprises a primary air admission chamber (44) and a safety compartment (45), - and the burner assembly (12) comprises a support (48) carrying a solenoid type supply valve (49) and a burner (62) having a centered combustion head (24) carried by the cross-lattice. The invention finds an application in hairpin tube apparatus.
