Abstract: A gas cooker to be used as a grill or as an oven provides for an air current to be blown along flames extending horizontally from a lower burner to cause the hot current to have an increased throw across the heating chamber. This enables the chamber to be wider than is usual, and achieves an improved uniformity of heat distribution across the heating chamber.
