ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION In electric machines having gas-cooled rotor wind- ings which consist of part conductors (18,19) which are placed on top of each other and have an F or U section, relative movements between the part conductor pairs occur during shaft rotation which generate copper abrasion. Such relative movements are inexpensively prevented by a "covered" riveting of the part-conductor pairs.
