Gas curling tongs (1) are described which comprise a handle part (2) and a hair treatment part (3). The handle part (2) has an orifice (4) into which a gas container (5) with a first container form is introduced and can be arranged in the interior of the handle part (2). Furthermore, a closure part 6 is provided which is allocated to the orifice (4) of the handle part (2) and can be connected to the handle part (2). The gas container (5) with the first container form can be fixed in the interior of the handle part (2) by means of the closure part (6). Alternatively, an extension part (8) is provided which, instead of the closure part (6), can be allocated to the orifice (4) in the handle part (2) and can be connected to the handle part (2). A gas container (7) with a second container form can be fixed in the interior of the handle part (2) and of the extension part (8) by means of the extension part (8).
