A gas dispenser (10) for releasing gas from a capsule (40) of the type having a body (42) and a frangible stem (44) to a delivery system is provided. The dispenser comprises a first housing portion (15) for receiving the body of a capsule and a second housing portion (20) for connecting the first housing portion to the delivery system. The first housing portion comprises a cavity (47) for receiving the stem of a capsule received by the second housing portion. At least one of the housing portions are movable relative to the other, this relative motion causes a shearing force to be applied to the capsule to cause rupture of the capsule such that a gas is released from the capsule.
La présente invention concerne un distributeur de gaz (10) permettant de libérer du gaz d'une capsule (40) d'un type possédant un corps (42) et une tige (44) frangible, à un système d'apport. Ce distributeur comprend une première partie boîtier (15) destinée à recevoir le corps d'une capsule et une seconde partie boîtier (20) destinée à connecter la première partie boîtier au système d'apport. La première partie boîtier comprend une cavité (47) destinée à recevoir la tige d'une capsule reçue par la seconde partie boîtier. Au moins une des parties boîtier est mobile par rapport à l'autre, ce mouvement relatif entraînant une force de cisaillement appliquée à la capsule afin d'entraîner la rupture de cette capsule de sorte qu'un gaz en soit libéré.
