The invention relates to a gas filter, a method for producing a gas filter and the use of said gas filter. The filtering of gases, especially gases containing solid impurities, such as automobile exhaust gases, is difficult since the solids which are filtered out gradually clog up the filter. The inventive gas filter can be used for longer periods since it can be regenerated. The invention is characterised in that the filter has a composite material which is easy to heat by means of applying a voltage to its electroconductive support material. Thermally decomposable substances which could block the filter are thus decomposed. The inventive filter can be used wherever gases containing thermally decomposable solid impurities need to be purified.
L'invention concerne un filtre à gaz, son procédé de fabrication et son utilisation. La filtration des gaz, notamment des gaz contaminés avec des matières solides, comme par exemple les gaz d'échappement de voiture, est difficile, les matières solides éliminées par filtration obstruant le filtre avec le temps. Ce filtre à gaz peut s'utiliser sur de plus longues durées car il est régénérable. Le perfectionnement apporté par rapport aux filtres à gaz traditionnels consiste en ce que ce filtre présente un matériau composite pouvant être chauffé de façon simple par application d'une tension sur son support électroconducteur, et en ce que les substances pyrolysables suceptibles de bloquer le filtre peuvent être désintégrées. Ce filtre peut s'utiliser dans tous les cas où des gaz contaminés avec des matières solides pyrolysables doivent être épurés.
