A gas fired burner apparatus including a housing (2) containing a burner (3) for combustion of a fuel/air mixture for heat transfer therefrom, the housing including an interior air supply region for receiving ambient air for delivery as primary air in a combustible fuel/air mixture to said burner, said air supply region being located within said housing in heat transfer proximity with said burner, and primary air temperature control means to positively control the temperature range of the primary air delivery to said fuel/air mixing means so as to reduce pre-heating effects on the primary air due to operation of the burner apparatus when compared with an identical apparatus not having said temperature control means.
Cet appareil comprenant un brûleur au gaz présente un logement (2) contenant un brûleur (3) destiné à la combustion d'un mélange combustible/air, aux fins de transfert de chaleur à partir de cette combustion. Ce logement comprend une région intérieure d'alimentation en air, conçue pour recevoir l'air ambiant, de manière à fournir cet air dans un mélange combustible/air, dans le brûleur, cette région d'alimentation étant montée dans le logement à proximité du brûleur, en relation de transfert de chaleur, et il comprend également un dispositif de régulation de la température de l'air, de façon à pouvoir réguler la plage de températures de l'air apporté à l'élément de mélange air/combustible, afin de réduire les effets du préchauffage de cet air, lequel est dû au fonctionnement du brûleur, par comparaison avec un appareil identique ne possédant pas de dispositif de régulation de la température.
