A heat recovery steam generator (12) has a housing (13) defining a horizontally oriented exhaust gas stream path from a gas turbine (10). The housing (13) has a diffuser portion (14) and a full cross section portion (16) containing heat recovery assemblies (18, 20, 22). The diffuser portion (14) expands the exhaust gas stream from the duct (17) at the gas turbine exhaust to the full cross section portion (16). Positioned in the diffuser portion (14) is a diffuser heat recovery assembly (26) for heat recovery and control of the flow distribution of the exhaust gas flow stream.

L'invention porte sur un générateur (12) de vapeur à récupération de chaleur comprenant un corps (13) formant un passage horizontal pour l'évacuation du courant gazeux provenant d'une turbine (10) à gaz. Le corps (13) comporte une partie diffusion (14) et une partie transversale pleine (16) contenant des ensembles (18, 20, 22) de récupération de chaleur. La partie diffusion (14) dilate le courant de gaz d'échappement depuis le conduit (17), au niveau de la sortie de la turbine à gaz, jusqu'à la partie transversale pleine (16). Un ensemble diffuseur (26) à récupération de chaleur est positionné dans la partie diffusion (14) de façon à récupérer la chaleur et commander la répartition de l'écoulement du courant de gaz d'échappement.
