The invention concerns a gas generator, intended in particular for use with an airbag. It is characterised by the fact that the gas-producing material (6) is held in a hermetically closed charge container (9) and the charge container (9) is provided on its interior with a flame guide pipe (10) which is formed in one piece with the charge container (9) and is provided with only one flame outlet aperture (11).

L'invention concerne un générateur de gaz destiné, en particulier, à un airbag. Ce générateur de gaz se caractérise en ce que le matériau (6) produisant le gaz est placé dans un récipient à charge (9) fermé hermétiquement et en ce que ledit récipient à charge (9) comporte, à l'intérieur, un tuyau de guidage de flammes (10) avec lequel il ne forme qu'une seule pièce et qui est pourvu d'une seule ouverture de sortie de flammes (11).
