The gas-insulated line comprises a conductor (1A) inside a jacket (3A) filled with a pressurized gas dielectric. A power condenser (5) is connected electrically to the conductor while inside a compartment (3P) attached to the jacket (3A) and filled with a pressurized gas dielectric. The gas dielectric in the compartment (3P) provides electrical insulation for the latter from the power condenser (5). In this manner, electrical insulation of the gas-insulated line between the conductor (1A) and jacket (3A) is maintained in the compartment (3P) where the power condenser (5) and conductor (1A) are connected electrically. As a result, the gas-insulated line according to the invention is of modest size and can be laid on or just below the surface.

La ligne à isolation gazeuse comprend un conducteur (1A) disposé à l'intérieur d'une enveloppe (3A) remplie d'un gaz diélectrique sous pression. Un condensateur de puissance (5) est raccordé électriquement au conducteur en étant disposé à l'intérieur d'un compartiment (3P) solidaire de l'enveloppe (3A) et rempli d'un gaz diélectrique sous pression. Le gaz diélectrique présent dans le compartiment (3P) assure une isolation électrique de ce dernier par rapport au condensateur de puissance (5). De cette façon, l'isolation électrique de la ligne à isolation gazeuse entre le conducteur (1A) et l'enveloppe (3A) est maintenue dans le compartiment (3P) où sont raccordés électriquement le condensateur de puissance (5) et le conducteur (1A). D'où il résulte que la ligne à isolation gazeuse selon l'invention conserve un faible encombrement et une utilisation au ras du sol ou enterrée.
