The invention concerns a gas meter (10; 56; 88) comprising a chamber (12) provided with an admission (14) and an outlet (16) for a of gas flow, a metering block (18; 36; 40; 58; 90) arranged inside said chamber and provided with at least one opening (20; 92) for introducing the gas flow into said block, characterised in that the metering block (18) has a wall (18a) arranged opposite the admission (14) of the gas flow and which is met by said flow, said opening being provided only in the wall opposite (18b) said metering block.

L'invention a pour objet un compteur de gaz (10; 56; 88) comprenant une enceinte (12) munie d'une amenée (14) et d'une évacuation (16) d'un écoulement de gaz, un bloc de mesure (18; 36; 40; 58; 90) qui est disposé à l'intérieur de ladite enceinte et pourvu d'au moins une ouverture (20; 92) permettant l'introduction de l'écoulement du gaz dans ledit bloc, caractérisé en ce que le bloc de mesure (18) possède une paroi (18a) disposée en regard de l'amenée (14) de l'écoulement de gaz et que rencontre ledit écoulement issu de l'amenée, ladite ouverture étant uniquement aménagée dans la paroi opposée (18b) dudit bloc de mesure.
