A method and apparatus for relighting a gas oven following interrruption in the operation thereof due to a temporary failure or reduction in the energy level of a source of electric energy comprises instantaneously disconnecting the delivery of pressurized gas to the oven in response to a reduction in the level of the electric energy, slowly reducing the pressure of gas in the delivery system, monitoring the pressure of the gas, and restoring the delivery of fuel to the oven only if the energy supply is restored to a proper level within a short period of time and prior to a predetermined reduction of the gas pressure.
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de rallumer un four à gaz après interruption du fonctionnement de ce dernier, que ce soit à cause d'une défaillance temporaire ou d'une diminution du niveau d'énergie fourni par une source d'énergie électrique. Ce procédé consiste à interrompre instantanément l'alimentation en gaz sous pression du four lorsque l'on détecte une diminution du niveau d'énergie électrique. On abaisse ensuite doucement la pression du gaz dans le circuit d'alimentation avant de contrôler cette dernière. On rétablit enfin l'alimentation en combustible du four, ceci uniquement dans le cas où l'alimentation électrique revient à un niveau normal en un court laps de temps, et avant que la pression de gaz ne diminue en dessous d'un seuil prédéterminé.
