CA 2141616

2141616 9403509 PCTABS00030 This invention relates to a method for preparing ethylene-olefin copolymers by gas phase polymerization, especially ethylene-octene copolymer, said copolymers having a density of from about 0.850 to about 0.940 g/cc. Polymerization occurs in the presence of a Group 4,5 or 6 transition metal catalyst system which is activated by an organoaluminum cocatalyst or an ion exchange reagent containing a stable, non-coordinating anion.
