ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a gas spring, and its object is to achieve a piston rod extension force controlled as a function of temperature. This object is accomplished in that the volume of the working chamber entered by the piston rod is variable as a function of temperature by means of a partition and the desired extension force characteristic of the piston rod is thereby obtained over a temperature interval.
