GAS TURBINE DRIVEN HIGH SPEED CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR UNIT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A high speed centrifugal compressor is driven through interconnection of the centrifugal compressor's input shaft with the power transfer shaft of a power turbine wheel. A bearing bracket is mounted on the compressor and a hot gas labyrinth seal is provided therein adjacent to the power turbine wheel. The labyrinth seal is in communication with surfaces of the rotating power transfer shaft.
